The library provides many services to patrons including Internet access, printing, scanning, faxing, and lamination. Here is an overview of our services.
Current Fiction, Best-sellers, Large Print and Nonfiction. We receive new books on a regular basis and will gladly accept recommendations for items that patrons would like us to add to the collection. We will reserve a book for you if the one you want is currently checked out of the library.
Magazines and Newspapers. The library subscribes to many magazines, along with USA Today, the Idaho State Journal, and the Caribou County Sun newspapers. Access to other magazines and newspapers is available through electronic databases.
Reference Services. The library staff will assist you in finding answers to reference questions using in-house materials, Internet, and magazine databases.
Internet and Computer Services. We offer 5 high-speed internet computers and one card catalog computer at no charge to the public. All we ask is that you sign-in at the front desk before use. There is a one-hour time limit. A software filter is in place according to federal CIPA rules and may only be disabled if you are 17 years or older.
If you have your own computer or device, we offer you the opportunity to use our wi-fi for no charge. Select the Library-Guest network and agree to the terms of use.

We also have the ability to scan to email and print from your phone.
Laminating and Binding. The library has a large laminator which costs $1/foot. Spiral binding is also available and averages $1/coil and $1 for clear plastic covers.
3D Printing: The library has two 3D printers and a variety of filament colors. Cost is based on the amount of plastic used. Come visit with us about your project in order to get an cost estimate.
Test Proctoring. We are capable of proctoring tests if needed. Please be sure to schedule in advance so that we can reserve a computer and/or space for your test. Please check with us prior to your test to ensure that all test materials are in order and at the library.
Audio Books. You are able to listen to your favorite books in CD, Playaway and MP3 formats. They are available for both adults and children. Check out our large selection now! We also offer downloadable audio books through one click digital.
DVD TV Shows and Movies. The library offers a wide variety of media for adults and children. A one week checkout is standard. There is a $1 fee for each day late per DVD.
CD Music. For your listening enjoyment try our music collection.
Audio/Visual Equipment. An overhead projector, opaque projector and slide projector with screen are available for checkout. To assist organizations in their presentations, we loan a DLP projection system and screen.
Memory Book Service. Books may be donated to the library in memory of a loved one. Just ask a librarian, we will be happy to explain the program to you.
Fax & Copy Services. A fax machine is available for your convenience. The staff will send or receive faxes (208-547-2606) for you at a nominal cost. A public copy machine will print up to 11 x 17 paper and is capable of handling most of your copying needs.
Income Tax Forms. The library can print State and Federal Tax Forms from the IRS website.
Interlibrary Loan Service. When you are unable to locate a title that you need in our library, the library staff will make every effort to borrow the book from another library for your use. Loans are usually limited to books only, not CD books, video or music.
Drive-up Book Drop. A drive-up book return located on the north wall is available 24 hours a day for patrons to return materials to the library.
