The Soda Springs Public Library has upgraded our receipt printer. Our previous printer was at least 15 years old and still used a printer ribbon! With this new upgrade, we will no longer be stamping books with the due date on date due slips inside the books. This means you will have a faster checkout and an easy to read receipt. We can also print fine receipts upon request.
If you don’t like or want a paper receipt, we can send you an eReceipt via email or text. Just let us know at the desk when checking out.
If you used to keep track of what you have read by placing your initials on the date due slip, you can continue to do this in books that still have the date due slips. But new books will no longer have a date due slip. Instead, you can keep a reading list in your library account. Your library account is accessible over the internet with your library barcode and pin number. We are happy to set this up for you and check it before you take something home. Just ask!
