Friends of the Library
Submitted by admin on March 5, 2006 - 9:49pm.
Friends of the library are those with helping hands...
We have an active group and would love to have you join us!
The primary reason for a Friends of the Library is to be prepared to manage, outside of the general funds of the library, large donations. Specifically, donations geared toward future additions.
We meet about four times a year planning new ways to earn funds for needed items at the library. Currently, our biggest fundraiser is the Independence Day Book Sale located in the park next to the library.
If you would like more information, contact Kaye Moore who is acting Chairperson of the Friends of the Library or Cindy Erickson who is the Library Director.
