Public Domain eBooks and audio books

Soda Springs Library is excited to offer free audio book checkouts that can be played on your MP3 player. In association with Netlibrary, we can offer local patrons with an additional 2,000 choices in audio book format. If you haven't tried this out, the library has a few MP3 players available for checkout. Just follow the links and instructions and you should be ready to download audio books.
Unfortunately, Netlibrary audio books do not work with iPods. If you would like free audio books for your iPod, be sure to check out Project Gutenburg (PG). PG publishes books available in the Public Domain in several formats - eBooks, text files, and audio files including MP3 or iPod. This is a great resource for students who need access to a classic. There are currently as many as 100,000 public domain books available through Project Gutenburg.
Project Gutenbury also includes sheet music available in the public domain. This is an awesome resource for musicians.
