Breakfast At Tiffany's
Last Updated: May 29, 2007 - 5:15pm — soda
It is often fun to compare a movie to the book from which it was inspired. The movie is now a classic and favorite for Audrey Hepburn fans. This movie firmly established Audrey as a fashion icon.
But the movie is clearly a Hollywood interpretation of the story. By reading the book you can find the answer to rather important questions. What does the title mean? Who is Holly Golightly? How do our choices affect our lives? Must life be taken seriously? You will find that Holly Golightly's name has a bit of irony, that choices do matter, and yes, Breakfast at Tiffany's does mean something.
The library does have a copy of Truman Capote's short novel. Just a word of warning - the novel is a bit darker than the movie. Come check it out!
