You Can Edit Photos at the Library!
Last Updated: October 15, 2008 - 7:38pm — sodaDo you have some photos that aren't quite right? Do you need to design a logo or create a poster for an event? The library is here to help! All of our patron computers have new photo editing and illustration software installed on them.
Gimp is a photo editor that is very similar to Photoshop. You can crop, resize, remove red-eye, sharpen, etc. You can use Gimp for digital scrapbooking, web graphics, and logo design.
Brisinger is here!
Last Updated: September 29, 2008 - 5:48pm — sodaFor those who have been waiting for the latest installment of the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini, it is now available from the library. We have two copies of the book and 2 copies of the CD book. We already have a waiting list so come and reserve a copy!
Lost and Found at the library
Last Updated: July 9, 2008 - 6:02pm — sodaWith so many fun activities this summer, we have acquired a large collection of lost and found items. If you are missing something important, like reading glasses, bags, or your kids favorite toy, come to the library and see if it is here. Unclaimed items will eventually be donated or thrown out (we simply don't have the room to store items forever!).
Thanks!
4th of July Book Sale
Last Updated: June 12, 2008 - 5:28pm — sodaMake plans to stop by the annual 4th of July Book Sale! This event is held just outside the library and you can expect to find great buys on many popular authors. Be sure to look for the pressed wildflower cards, plant sale, and book bags. This is a fun fundraiser for the library and we appreciate all the support the local community provides.
The library is currently accepting donations to either add to our collection or to place in the sale.
Please contact us if you have any questions, 547-2606.
